Interesting how many of these shows didn't play on Sunday. The only concession to Sunday I ever saw was to do the shows early and have it in the truck by 8:00.
On the Beatty show, we had Sunday Matinee-only shows. Nothing was cut. The entire show as set up, and we gave them everything we had. Early tear-downs meant at least one jump of the week when we could see some country.

My favorite (or actually least favorite)
Sunday shows schedule was from the years
I worked for Jimmy Harrington in San Juan
for his "Gran Circo Panamericano" that
ran for 6 to 7 weeks early every Spring
The 1st 5 or 6 years we played in the
Estadio Hiram Bithorn ballpark before
the Coliseo Roberto Clemente opened
We worked 7 days a week but only had
an 8PM show Monday to Friday but then
2P & 8P Saturday & then we paid for it
on SUNDAY with 3 shows at 10:30 2 & 7
After parties on Saturday night
those early Sundays were brutal
The so called "Blue Laws" prevailed during that time period and circuses/shows did not work on Sundays. How times have changed......

On Royale we had 3 on Sunday for the first couple of weeks but the crowds were so bad it was cut to 2 on Sunday. Stayed 3 on Saturday though.
