The lonely, pensive clown, against the backdrop of the quiet, mighty circus. This is my favorite shot of Jackie. It's good to know his long life was so admired, and as Kenny Dodd told me last night, so loved by everyone. His peaceful departure was a blessing to put him on the arrows to the Big Lot.

We've lost a dear friend overnight Friday the 15th
Jackie LeClaire would have turned 92 on May 11th
He spent the last couple of months in the nursing
care unit of Bay Village which is a multi level
retirement complex where Jackie lived many years
Kenny Dodd was 1 of the last close friends to see
him on Friday merely hours before he slipped away
Jackie was 1 of the last surviving performers in
"The Greatest Show on Earth" feature film
In my estimation The Greatest Show on Earth
never looked more authentic than it did in
this "Old Garden" (actually MSG number 3)
I'm very grateful to have worked frontlight
in this long lost gem of a crusty building
