Also Struppi and her aerial partner were on Mills. I read that Struppi Zimmerman? who later became Struppi Hanneford said, "She was shocked at the living conditions on a truck show as compared to the way they lived in Europe". But being the troupers they were....they stuck it out.

I believe her name was Gertrude

Another of the hardest working

& elegant ladies of the business

She & Tommy raised their niece

Nellie as their own after Kay

died & then they adopted her
