Those 2 long windows almost suggest serving ports for a Commissary wagon, but look a little high for that. Minus upper and lower windows, I can't think it's a sleeper, and the man door doesn't need a ladder. We had this one posted before, so a Cristiani fan needs to ID its purpose.
I don't know what purpose this truck served on King/Cristiani, but on the 1954-55 King Bros it sat immediately out side the back door and handled wardrobe. The wardrobe mistress who's name was Threadora, are very close, was an interesting person who believed meditation could cure all ills.
Kenny Dodd worked on the Cristiani Bros. Circus roughly 1956 thru 1960. To my knowledge, Kenny never worked on King-Cristiani Combined Circus. After the Cristiani Family parted ways with Floyd King (1953 was the last season for King & Cristiani Circus.....The Cristiani Family entered another partnership and had Cristiani/Bailey Circus which was played with out a tent. Then in 1956 the Cristiani Family started their own show (Cristiani Bros. Circus) and this is the show Kenny Dodd joined out with.
