This elderly truck is a puzzlement, though I feel certain someone must be alive who would know it's use. I am going to speculate. Considering its location and the bar along the top holding a block and falls, I believe it was used to load canvas, probably big top side wall. Considering the top at that time was a 140', with two 30s' and a 40' middle, the side wall would have required a separate unit to move over the road. It would be great if someone, somewhere could enlighten me.
