Blackpool Tower in Blackpool UK. A wonderful Circus building that has had a Circus every year for the last 120 years and delighted to report still have a Circus today that starts in early March until November, sadly they stopped using animals in 1990 but the Circus always have top acts.
I inherited a unique album of acts that played the Blackpool Tower, with autographs and personalized well-done cartoon drawings of many, accumulated over many seasons by the original holder who played there. It is an amazing treasure, never to be duplicated. I've not placed a price on this album, and am not sure I would part with it.
Vanessa Toulmin penned a fine article, reprinted from another source for BANDWAGON, with stunning photos, on the Blackpool. A shot of the ring is captioned, "The Tower Circus building is the only surviving Victorian arena still in use today"--just as Sue Lenz said above.
Since BANDWAGON denies us months and years now, and has gone to volumes and numbers, I don't know how to tell you to find it easily. But it's Vol. 62, No. 2, from 2018, if that helps any.

I'm sure Sue & Rudi Lenz
know this building well
Many of us I'm sure, don't.
