Floyd King and Arnold Maley were business partners (King Bros.) for the 1954 and 1955 Seasons....The Cristiani Family's last season with King as partners was 1953. In 1956, King Bros Circus was divided into two units (Western and Eastern). Sadly, both units folded, thus ending the once mighty King Bros. Circus.
Even the network newscasts covered the demise of circuses in 1956, citing RBB, both units of King, and the bankruptcy of the Beatty show. Only Beatty reorganized to come back and finish the season as America's last under-canvas railroad circus.
