If you mean Harold Barnes, I think you're right. Harold was one of the 3 great wire-walkers, along with Colleano and Castle. He had a great business sense, and was a master tent man. He also wrote very well, and his memories and obituaries in CIRCUS REPORT and BACK YARD, are among the best you can read from a circus man.
this was not a rental, but his first. oniy tent rental from Harold and Bob was when he was still under the Germain name. after that a stake driver, Frank and myself were the only rentals. I see my pickup in the picture. :)
