Welcome to Buckles Blog. This site is for the discussion of Circus History all over the world.
Mark Anthony, one of a kind. It's hard to stand out as a tramp clown, but he made it work. He had a long association with the Beatty show.
Aside from being an incredibly nice & friendly fellow Mark was a master foam carver many out of scraps large & small from my shop over the years Buzzards like those on his hat & shoulder were his trademarks I luckily have 1 as well as an elephant I watched him carve with a small pair of scissors
Mark spent several years with GSOE, was a real talent and one of the nicest people you would ever meet. It was always fun to be around him.
In case you missed it that's a fly on his nose I'm surprised he wore his watch for this op
