Paul Jerome did an equally celebrated whiteface, and wore whichever the show wanted season by season. He was called The Neon Clown, for his bright red throbbing heart, and his blinking green oversized glasses. Jerome was a veteran of WW II, and is interred with honors in Arlington.

Almost missed it. Look for the wire from his wig. It lit up that little bulb in his putty nose.
