Pronounced Row Barts

The building was named for

W T Robarts a local Sarasota

Funeral Director who donated

much of the originl funding

Robarts was 1 of the 2 main

Funeral Homes in Sarasota

Only the name survives as

it was purchased by a big

time chain operator

The other (& surviving 1)

is Toale Brothers which

is still family operated

Although a crummy building

with a low ceiling it is

all we have for such events
