Sometimes Cristian-Wallace Bros. Circus would open in Warner Robins, Ga (Air Base) about 20 miles from Macon, Ga. In the beginning, it was a sight to see....Big lay out on the lot with a calliope to greet you. A stellar performance, including the hippo walk around the hippodrome track. The handler did a slow walk around the track with the hippo (Miss Eva)and it was quite intriguing to say the least. The performance included some of the Cristiani family much like on the earlier Cristiani Bros. Circus....which by then was off the road. Corky Cristiani was on the show and supposedly this is where the Hollywood folks came to watch her act. She was hired to double for Doris Day in the riding scenes from the movie "Jumbo".
