A friend who played trumpet on the rodeo circuit in the 1980s said they played lots of Gallops. I don't know if that would carry over to a Wild West show.
A lot of musicians moved back and forth between circuses and wild west operations. The music tended to be similar and the instrumentation as well. If you were a seasoned circus windjammer, you'd have no trouble playing for a wild west show.
