ERIC BEHEIM and/or DON COVINGTON will know, but I believe that '24 SF band was led by Vic Robbins.
Cherie Valentine and I have a formal search underway for Robbins's final resting place. We have a lot on his life from many sources, but apply for assistance in locating his interment.

Nothing (I repeat nothing)
can ever replace live music
Nor will anything replace a genuine steel arena.
I happen to be a fan of the
diamond pattern mesh arenas
The aircraft cable is steel
Certainly less manual labor
& if properly blackened they
offer great visibility
I never saw a portable calliope
(kal e ope) with so many pipes
Blackening aircraft cable
is a very tricky artform
The title at the bottom right
corner reads Sells Floto 1924
(also hard to read)

Vic Robbins had the Sells Floto band from 1924 to 1931.

Roger,
Circus historian Charlie Conrad tells me that he believes Vic Robbins is buried in Fresno. I'll send you an email with details.
