Yes, indeed. Quite a figure in there for many seasons. In mid-1975, he called me to come take over the Howard Suesz 7-tiger act and the 3 elephants. His girlfriend had been badly injured in a car accident down in Ft. Myers, and he needed to be there. For the 3 days we had together, he was a good and intense teacher. Later, he trained Skarbecki's Serengeti Lions. In a sad turn of events, like Pat Anthony, he was also diagnosed with cancer, and again like Pat, sold his act to Dave Hoover, which were the cats Dave had on L.E. Barnes.
