Many shows carried free acts on the Front End. This slack wire might have served the purpose. Others have been slide-for-life, and even some of the smaller cat acts.

Beatty had the Nocks swaypoles

out front for the Philly date

for a year or 2 in the late 60s

In Vidbel #6 a few days ago it

showed a stratocycle out front
