Clyde, Jr. told me his deal with Johnny Pugh was that neither would reduce the name of the other rights holder. He was offended when the lettering, as we see here, began to reduce Clyde Beatty, and he and Johnny had an exchange of viewpoints. As we know, Johnny removed the Beatty name, which had been there for 38 years after his death.
