Different "soldiers" from different continent's was the norm for these wild west show's, from what I have read. From old film and pictures I have managed to come across, it even appear's that they brought and rode horse's native to their countries, not unlike the groups Hagenbeck used to put together at his zoo and exhibitions.
Who is the Buffalo Bill wanna be sitting to the left of McCoy? Or is it Bill? Look's to be a little to citified to be "the" Buffalo Bill.

A few weeks ago Wade Burck
sent several dozen images
I've assembled a few groups
Here are the first dozen
Hopefully Wade will caption
these for us (thanks Wade)
Iron Eyes Cody is the 4th Indian from the left, in the back row. I sent these picture's Chic hoping others could identify them, not so that I could.

Aside from Tim McCoy centered in the BIG hat
& all the cowboys & indians there seems to be
both Spanish & Cossack equine contingents

Likely an intentional look alike
The real Cody wouldn't take such
a reduced image situation
