Every time I see their Clydesdales, my heart breaks again, remembering when a car slowed down along a road at the Busch Farms, outside St. Louis, and someone shot and killed 7 of the horses out in pasture. Three were foals. I've looked back online, and can't find that anyone was ever charged with the shootings.

I have no recall of ever knowing
of that tragedy Roger but I do
know that at 1 time there were
48 Clydesdales under the Anheiser
flag with 3 teams of 12 stabled
in LA St Louis & Williamburg VA
The other 12 were in training on
a rural Missouri farm
I had several opportunities to
chat with their grooms
I also don't know current status
since the sale to InBev
They had a team your through Orlando in the last year or so. They set up in Sanford at the distributor for a few days.
Sanford is the Southern home of
Amtrak's Autotrain as well as
the home of "Stand Your Ground"
The jingle from these commercials
continues to ring in my ears
