Welcome to Buckles Blog. This site is for the discussion of Circus History all over the world.
I had this image in a wrong folder Just came across it in my searching He should be easily recognized Not many dog acts played on ice (Nor did many trainers ice skate)
This was Gerard Soules after his flying days
He was a single trap sensation Bob he wasn't a flyer as such He finished with that "flying heel catch" (very scary indeed) It finally scared him enough to give up his aerial work
It was after that he turned to the dressed up dogs maybe from Victor Julian
His short life came to a very tragic ending while working in Glitter Gulch
