Yes, this would be Slivers Madison at World Jungle Compound, Jungleland's previous title. I don't see his wife, Jo, whose striking beauty I have described as a cross between our two Lamour girls--Hedy and Dorothy.
But by the time I arrived, in '65, this area was no longer set up for shows. All acts were either on the Big Stage Arena, or followed Mabel Stark, in her Tiger Arena--which was a Barnes show cage salvaged by Louis Goebel, in 1938.
See how it is with this stuff? If you don't look out, you'll get me started.

Roger, I just sent an email to Adam advising him that you will show up. Will let you know when I hear back. I email him, because he never answers a phone call from me, fearing useless advice, ie."you know back in my day this is how we used to do it etc. etc." With James C. Hall closer at hand he usually has all the useless advice he can tolerate........ Roger, I just heard from Adam and he said he will look forward to meeting you. Due to change in plan's James C. will not be there but his daughter Elaine(Adams wife) will be and she can jackpot with the best of them. Nobody around anymore, just folk's who were kid's at one time and are now the show.

I had completely blown the connection that Adam married Jimmy's daughter, and at one time I knew this. Damn, these things begin to happen when we turn 50.
Looking forward to seeing them, indeed.
I've known James C Hall since we first worked together at Marineland and Game Farm in 1976, and Adam was 6 month's old. James C. always called him "Baby pukes alot" when he threw up his milk. A couple of years later when I was separated from Adam's mother I used to ask James C. to watch him while the tiger act was on. He was terrified of James C. because James C. used to plop him down on a bear seat and tell him "if you move, I am going to poke your eyes out." James C., not having children at the time, could hardly tolerate him. I asked James C. to change his diaper one time, and he took him to Herta and told her to do it. Herta,not being versed in child care, crumpled some cookies up at the edge of the table and had Adam stand up while she changed the diaper, like she used to dress the bear's. Before anyone accuses me of child abuse for accepting such behavior, when you only have bear trainer's to depend upon as nurse maid's you are not left with a lot of options. One evening we were in a Chinese restaurant waiting for our food and Adam was fussing around trying to reach a bowl on the table. Not knowing that it was very hot Chines mustard he kept insisting he wanted some. James C. kept moving it and Adam kept fussing. finally James C. shoved a spoon full in his mouth and said, "here, now would you shut the hell up!" I jumped up angry at James C. and was making Adam Drink water, while tear's rand down his face.. I thought James C. had killed him.
Adam and Elaine first met in 2004 in Evansville and were married two years later. At the wedding when the pastor asked "who give's this women's hand in marriage" James C. said, "her grandmother"(Isabell Luvus), and sat down. Karma is a wretched, evil bitch isn't she, James C?
One day our mutual friend, the late, great Jim Zajicek was contemplating what nationality's would be involved when Adam and Elaine had children, and concluded that with asshole on the maternal grandfathers side, and asshole on the paternal grandfathers side there would at least be some asshole in there someplace..........God Bless show folks.
