Obviously Knie, as the saddle is an exact copy of one that Louie Knie use for a tiger riding act. Riding act's are tough, and Louis had a nice one with multiple animals, as did the great GGW with two horses and Congo, an act often overlooked in mentioning his achievements. Riding act's were often not appreciated by the audience for difficulty. Hawthorn had one with a tiger and lion on an elephant, later changed to a gold tiger and a white tiger which was offered to producer's for free with the large cage act. Many Saturday show's it was canceled or not used in an effort to make the show shorter.
