L to R: Triple-somersaulter Ernest Clarke, Gracie (Mrs. Poodles), Kay, Poodles, Laura Elizabeth (always known as Ernestine) Clarke, Matriarch Elizabeth, Elizabeth Rebecca Hanneford Clarke (Mrs. Ernest), and Charles Clarke, catcher for Ernest in their Flying Clarkonians.

Kathleen "Kim" Baer, firstborn of Ernestine and Parley Baer, is among the few women of this family not to be named Elizabeth. From the day of Parley and Ernestine's marriage, her mother lived with them until her death. In fact, she left the church with them as part of the deal.
