Sharp-eyed Angelinos (L.A. residents, for you out-of-towners) quickly spot arrows leading to film location shoots. These are often with yellow backgrounds and black letterings. Southern Californians by and large couldn't care less about the many shoots going on. But these arrows are rather subdued, with the names of the productions usually just in initials, so as not to tip off the tourists, so the company will not be overrun with celebrity seekers.
