Of the revered "C.A. Taylor XX Professional Trunk Co., Chicago-New York".

BILL STRONG wrote to Bretton Trunk Company that his father-in-law, Dime Wilson, was a circus clown who had ordered a Taylor trunk. Back came a letter saying Wilson would get his trunk, but Taylor had closed and the nameplate would now read "Wm Schuessler - Chicago". TRUDY STRONG might know the year her father bought the trunk.

There is fine history of Taylor trunks on the net.

Mabel Stark's last personal trunk, which I had for many years, was a Schuessler.
