The Boss Electrician for years over there was Thomas Fitzpatrick, called "Kilowatt". We had two of these generator wagons on the lot, for the Front End, and for the Back Yard.
Eddie "Ma" Dullem told me he did this lettering job.
To my eye, Roger Boyd's show painting was a vast improvement. His work shows the difference townies might not understand, between a sign painter and a show painter.

The only true "Acme Show"
Biggest banana in the bunch
"Acme Circus Operating Co"
Where it all began for me
As a kid I recall Acme as
a gocery store (super market)
I don't recognize that
style of lettering on
the truck so it's likely
to be before my time
Not that very long ago
I got rid of those oval
enameled floodlights
(at least I think so)

I knew "Kilowatt" very well Roger
That would be "Mother" Dullom who
I also knew very well & he did a
terrific washerwomen gag with Glen
"Seacow" Hart on the front track
Eddie's partner was Allen "Buster"
Odle who had been mailman before
Kenny Dodd took it over
The lettering I was most
familiar with on red trucks
was done by Roger Boyd who
had a sign shop in Valdosta
He smoked the same cigars as
Boom Boom & Dave Hoover but
mostly they just chewed on
the stumps
