If they were not soiled, and had time to dry, he might wear them again for the night show, but never for a 3rd show. For cleaning, his whites were sent to the dry cleaners, another chore I saw to. Every time I loaded them into the Cadillac, he'd follow me to the car, reminding me, "Be sure to have them crease those pants down the FRONT."
