Stella belonged to the show. But you were right she was my adopted baby. I was her mother. We couldn't have been any closer. She was just so young. Much younger than they said she was, and she needed a Mother. I was it. Buckles even let me train her. Of course she was cookie broke. She was so small I could man handle her. But I did not have to use cookies when she worked. I belonged to her. Later on when I got my leopards it was the same thing, I belonged to them, not the other way around.....Barbara.....

Off the subject of elephants. I am going to get my surgery Wed. the 31st. But it will not be a NEW PAIN PUNP. I fell like a broken down car. They are going to repair the pump, reposition, and reinforce it. Then in the back they are going to put in a new Catheter. So it is not going to be the simple job it usually is. To say the least, I am not real pleased. The " Medtronic " people don't want a black mark against their machine. Their is a machine out there with an eight to ten year life year span on it. "MEDRONIC'S" LIFE SPAN IS THREE to five years. We never made the five year, except for the last one and that one made it because I was eight months with it " NOT " working. I was in terrible pain. The pain pump I have in now they put in a year ago Aug. It has " NOT " worked at all. I am praying for a miracle. Well here goes.... @#$#%@%. I WOULD LIKE A REAL BIG BLACK MARK ON MEDRONIC.....Barbara...... ( THE BIONIC WOMAN.)

Thinking of you on the 31st, knowing well what you're dealing with. Just got a bum CT scan myself, but am holding off until I advance current work. All prayers and good wishes to you for the ultimate success that this time, things truly work. Standing by to know how you are.
