#8 Sarasota!

This was originally a 5 Act acquired from the Hagenbeck Zoo in 1948 immediately following World War 2  including the trainer Hugo Schmitt seen at right! Mr. North decided it needed more elephants so Hugo added three RB elephants including the African "Sudan". My Mother and I saw the show that year and later had trouble describing a "One Foot Stand" to my Father.
