Working for Uncle Sid, this became the first time I worked a cat act under a Big Top, so the memories from this shot are fond indeed. I later learned Kellner had bought this one upon the demise of the Mills show. This newspaper photographer came on the lot and took, he said, 9 rolls of film of us, with two devoted to my act. I tracked him down in his advanced old age just two years ago. He was very sharp, and he promised me a full contact sheet. Alas, the photos never came.
