Pictured at lower R is the ever-glamorous Hillary Brooke, who much later signed a photo for me. Ms. Brooke had the only female lead, playing the evil Diana who needed Clyde Beatty to serve as an unwitting guide to her criminal quest for riches. Earlier, she co-starred in three Sherlock Holmes films with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce, always as the enticing femme fatale. Her filmograpy is impressive, and is listed on both IMDb, and Wikipedia. She died in Bonsall, California, in 1999, at 84.
