My father and Mr. Powell hit it right off, I remember being awakened at night after the show was torn down and I would ask, "Where have you been? and he would reply "Playing cards with the Lone Ranger!", "Who won?....."I won two games and the Lone Ranger won two games". Years later with Kelly-Miller at some sort of Social Function I saw my father somewhat "Tipsy" and heard a voice from the crowd saying "The Lone Ranger Rides Again!"
