Right. It was Beatty-Wallace in '43, and Beatty-Russell in '44. Beatty's name appeared alone for the '45 truck show. Various accounts had that show out on 75 trucks, and Beatty said there had been such grief with them, he'd never have a truck show again. 1946 saw him on rails as sole owner for the next decade. Re-organization at the end of '56 put the thing back out on trucks from '57 on. Flying act catcher Dick Anderson told me how crushed everyone was to arrive in quarters to be told the rail show had ended.
