#10 Elephant Rides!

The Classic Ride Howdah but the later "Frame Howdahs" allowing the riders to straddle  was much easier on both Man and Beast!

Finally, someone has addressed my curiosity regarding the "classic" howdah and the front facing howdah. Thanks, Buckles. But still; I wonder why everyone eventually complied with the 'newer' style, considering only half as many riders at a time could ride and thus half as much money earned per round?
Thoughts?
