Extra

Shannon and "Anna May" in Mexico.

Off Subject but if anyone had asked me a few weeks ago if I would stop watching the NFL on TV over the National Anthem squabble I would have said Impossible!
Since then I have found it wasn't  difficult at all!

With over 2,852,901 US service personal being killed protecting this country, and with the flag that covered their caskets being disrespected, it is a wonder anyone is watching them anymore.

That figure above does not include fire fighters, state troopers, local law enforcement and future US citizens who took part in the French and Indian war (Seven Year War) that gave their lives for the rest of us.

Ms Jemele Hill along with her bosses at ESPN/Disney should all take a long walk down a short pier.

The 2,852,901 is the total number of U.S. Casualties. This includes KIA (killed in action) along with other related deaths, plus the number of wounded personal. It does not include any MIA's (missing in action) personal. MIA's have only been counted since the 1st World War and that numbers about 40,000 more.

My fellow Texans almost lynched Jerry Jones for the way he replaced Tom Landry. He did not call him in and do so in person, but brought in Jimmy Johnson without notice to Landry. A reporter called Landry at his home, down in Mission, Texas, for a comment on being fired, and this was news to the Coach. Landry was a towering figure of decency and integrity among Texans, many of whom felt there was God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and Tom Landry. Jones suffered excoriation thereafter, so if he has now taken this welcome position on standing for our Anthem or else, this Texan says it's about flipping time.
