This man (jean ducoing I believe) was director of the zoo near Bordeaux in France. He made the show swimming and playing with the hippo. He was killed some years ago by this hippo : newspaper wrote that the hippo became hangry cause she was jealous as her boss spent to much time driving a all new truck he bought ...

Whatever motivated the hippo's attack that day, we've all heard that hippos kill more humans in the wild than all other wild species combined.
