During the winter of 1988 I was booked at Disneyland for 10 weeks for Kenneth Feld produced "Circus Fantasy". We had a street parade daily through the park. There was a fantastic cage wagon which was a big colorful fiberglass lion with the cage as his belly. For the first week I rode in the cage with my wonderful lion Rex (my alternative was to walk beside the cage, it was a long parade route). Anyway, I was approached by the management and informed they would no longer allow me to ride in the cage with him, as "I had no escape route". Well, they were right, but I knew this lion like the back of my hand and explained the worst that may occur is personal embarrassment trying to keep him from falling asleep. I complied, but I wasn't too happy.

I find it interesting the same company who forbade me from riding in the wagon with my lion permitted Larry to do exactly that with his lion as this photo confirms. Double standard?

Has anyone had contact with Larry recently?

Larry recently turned up in a photo of the jackpot meeting in Sarasota.

Good to know Roger, thanks. Just wanted to know if he's alright. Hope you're well too.
