Franchon and Marco produced stage shows for the Fox Theater chain back in the early 1930s. Their “Circus Days” stage show played the circuit in 1931. (A few years ago, Buckles posted a photo taken in Los Angeles in 1931, showing Louis Reed and his wife with an elephant at a local LA car wash. This photo op was staged to help publicize the appearance of “Circus Days” at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood.)
Thanks Eric, great!
