Pat, You have a great photo here with you and Pat Anthony. I got to meet Pat Anthony on miller Johnson and Vargas and what an act he had and was great this this fan. Pat you also had a stellar act when you opened here in Beaumont with Dick Gardens circus and a cage full of fury. Thanks for the memories.
Thanks, Harry. You were always so kind whenever I passed through your area and we could visit. Pat Anthony was on a unit of Cirque Gatini up in Canada in 1980 when this photo was taken. Roy and I had Gee Gee's elephants and ponies. It was Pat's last year on the road; he had a very difficult time as his health was failing. He was very nice to Roy and I, and we helped him as much as we could. We talked a lot.
I had to laugh when you referred to the act I had Dickie's show "...a cage full of fury". Not so much! You know me, Harry. I always tried to work the cats calmly and quietly. That was a nice group. I miss the cats when I think about them too much.
'Thanks for the memories'? You bet! Believe me Harry, the pleasure was all mine.
