Great ladies of the Sawdust Trail. Rosie Alexander, Gee Gee Engesser, and Bobby Peck. I knew the first two ladies, and had hoped to meet Ms. Peck, by then Ms. McGough, who resided somewhere in North Texas during my Hubert Castle seasons. I missed every chance, and she passed too soon. She had great Beatty show history, and I wanted to hear her recollections. Alas, so close and yet so far.
