A difficult act which I'm not sure the audience was fully able to appreciate in those big venues. I've had a total of seven leopards in different acts over the years, but for me (sorry Barbara!) that was seven too many. Just as dangerous as a lion or tiger, and they can fly too. No thanks.
My wife had me hold "Nirvanas" leash for a moment while she did something and somehow we became entangled and while doing the Mexican Hat Dance, managed to get bit on the leg and had to get a Tetanus Shot. .....and if that wasn't bad enough the cat got all the sympathy
This is my photo. 14 leopards in the 1st half, 14 tigers in the second half, plus a dozen or so liberty horses, and 2 dozen elephants PIZZAZ . . . PIZZAZ this man had more P I Z Z A Z in his little finger than you or anybody else has in their whole body!!!!!!!!!
"IT IS NOT THE CRITIC WHO COUNTS. THE CREDIT BELONGS TO THE MAN WHO IS ACTUALLY IN THE ARENA . . . WHO AT THE BEST KNOWS IN THE END THE TRIUMPHS OF HIGH ACHIEVEMENTS AND WHO AT THE WORST, IF HE FAILS, AT LEAST FAILS WHILE DARING GREATLY, SO THAT HIS PLACE WILL NEVER BE WITH THJOSE COLD AND TIMID SOULS WHO KNOW NEITHER VICTORY NOR DEFEAT." Perhaps difficult Patricia
but it had little pizazz
Leopards in a mesh arena
seem somewhat diminutive
Best was Gunther's exit
Uncaged Leopard acts of which
there were many had more presence
Several of Barbara's showed well

Good ol' Teddy Roosevelt. Such a quote, Paul! I liked Teddy even before he did "Night at the Museum".
Yes. I'm smiling...(typed, not 'emojified' is that like 'shaken not stirred', just a personal preference?)
My mention was not of GG
or his many achievements
& his spectacular presence
but of a particular display
The Red Show back then had
16 elephants & I'm unsure
about your count of cats
For all his greatness
& splendor Paul sorry
but he didn't walk on
water as many believe
Some of your comments Paul
are written like a press agent
Hype is nothing new to circus
Don't get me wrong Paul
I remain grateful for your
many photos & comments
