I'm about to make somebody mad at me, but... Ernestine and Parley Baer's first-born, Kathleen, known to most as Kim Baer, celebrated her 65th birthday on the 29th. I've known her for 51 of those years. Mabel Stark and I were finishing up a morning's work in June of 1966, when up walks the Baer family, and Mabel introduces us. You could count on one hand the people who actually achieved a personal relationship with Mabel, and Parley and Ernestine were two of them.
