I remember my father training this tambourine dance. He had seen it done by one of the Powers elephants but she simply stood still and whacked it on her knees. When he started with "Anna May" she had already did a front leg skip and mistakenly jumbled them together. Later my wife and she made a two minute dance routine out of it.
