Come one, you guys. I should know, but can't come up with it. Who's the beauty at R?
looks like LaTosca ???
This is Bobby Peck who was from Galveston and later lived in Dallas. Was on Ringling in the 1930's and I forwarded to Buckles my Kelty photo of her in the statue posing group a few years back. She later married long time Ringling ticket superintendent Bill McGough. Married to Bill for 45 years? She was active in the DFW circus groups later in her life. Most of her collection went to the University of Texas. p.j.
Thank you, PJ. I heard she was around when I was on Castle, out in Seagoville. For those who don't know the region, DFW indicates Dallas-Ft. Worth, and we did have a strong circus presence there. Many will recall the legendary Lucky Trailer Park, the frequent home of Herbie Weber. I regret having missed meeting Bobby Peck McGough. She had prominent roles on the Beatty show.
