Hubert Wells and girlfriend Doree. They were with us for the premiere of MABEL, MABEL, TIGER TRAINER, at the Santa Barbara Int'l Film Festival, on February 8th. Among many other movie animal credits, including DR. DOLITTLE, and RING OF BRIGHT WATER, Hubert had the lions on OUT OF AFRICA, in which Doree doubled the lion scenes for Meryl Streep. This shot is of their place out in the canyons, south of Thousand Oaks, California. I don't have the name of their elephant.
