Big difference in tails
Someone once told me that the last outdoor venue that Ringling appeared in was WESTGATE PARK, the former baseball stadium once located on Friars Road at State Route 163 in San Diego. (Today, that is the site of the Fashion Valley Shopping Center.) Since it was the only outdoor venue that the show was still using, all of its special outdoor rigging was permanently stored there. (After Westgate Park was torn down, this rigging was stored at BALBOA STADIUM, located south of Balboa Park, where it might have been used by the Polack show, which sometimes played Shrine dates there.)
