I like that one. Are elephants annoyed by this type of costuming?

If they were bothered badly by their costuming, they would take it off. I have seen elephants eat or play with their costumes if you didn't watch them. They do like to play with things like that. And their tent or guy wires or poles that hold them up they also liked to play with them. Or if you leave a wheelbarrow too close to them they will play with it until it is demolished. The same thing goes for shovels and any tools. They are very mischievous. I have seen them eat a flashlight and it came out their back side flat, batteries and all. And our Peggy that Gunther Gebel Williams gave us loved to steal ladies purses when she would be at the back of the ring between her tricks. And if she got away with it she would eat everything in the purse (after she would exam everything) Then she would eat the purse. No it did not harm her. We would scold her, for doing that. But it did not impress her much. Sorry about that you ask one question and I go on and on. Anna May loved to carry trash, and little cans, or anything like that around. That is why we always had to wipe her mouth before the leg carry. When we first discovered this she came up to pick me up by my knee, opened her mouth and all the trash dropped out of her mouth onto my stomach, I brushed it off very embarrassed, and went on with it....Barbara....

Oh, that is a great answer. Don't apologize for those details! Thank you, Tony
