Later known as Hubert Castle
I had his cats in '72 and '73. Only on select dates did he stage any sign of a Spec, and only then at the insistence of Shriners on the bigger dates. This consisted of little more than all of us moping once around the track. Out in the hinterlands, Cleo Plunkett blew the whistle, Russ Darr struck up the 3-piece band, and the show was strictly two hours of acts. Johnny Herriott spoke of how Hubert would often cop a Sunday on anyone handy, and in this photo he looks like he's ready to do so again.
