#1 Circus World

I am pretty much running out of stuff , I'll rehash these pix taken
shortly after my 1974 arrival in Venice to take over the elephants bound
for the new Ringling Theme Park, Circus World.

I am sure there are many of us, myself included, who have many photos they would be happy to send, but then you would probably be jammed up trying to handle the volume. Is it possible for you to just go back and reprise some of the photos you had up when you first started the Blog? Diane used to print out the photos and, as I recall, many comments, so we have a few pounds of pics. Be well and great thanks for all you have shared.

For those of us who are new to the blog, the historical stuff is fascinating and then there are those senior bloggers who don't mind a refresher course. We're all getting there.

"Refresher" is a kind word

that means so much to us

Thanks Bob

I`ll be glad to send you some pictures. I have many of them that I have no info on so maybe you could help with that. Let me look some of them up and I`ll email them to you.

I must confess,Chic, that I am rapidly falling into that category as well as I was on the payroll back in 1976/77.

Your re-hashes hold the history I love to revisit. I'm among those who sign on daily to get another look at photos and comments I hope never to be lost. Keep it coming.

Hi Buckles, I am a fan of your blog from the Netherlands and enjoy reading it very much.
I was thinking about the following, would you like to "teach" us how you worked with elephants. Because there is so much stupidity around it could help educate people. Although it is possibly in retrospect giving the world wide developments.
I was in a dutch Zoo recently where they showed a bull hook stating that "off course" they didn't use that. I wrote to them that the public deserves an objective statement (I used some of the things Wade Burck wrote about it) in stead of this colored and negative statement.
Anyhow maybe you don't like to go too much in details, that's fine then, but I would really appreciate it.
