The Big Apple Circus is up for sale

The one ring circus filed for bankruptcy in November
Its assets are up for auction Buyers can put in bids
by a February 3rd deadline The court ordered auction
is expected to be held on February the 7th

Though the future of the Big Apple Circus remains uncertain
an auction may be the initial step toward resurrecting the
show Executive Director Will Maitland Weiss said Tuesday
He’s optimistic the circus will carry on under a new owner
adding that several parties have expressed an interest in
purchasing the circus’s assets
